How can you register for a new e-TIN?

National Board of Revenue (NBR) of Bangladesh has been starting an e TIN. As a part of digitalizing of govt. NBR have cancelled their old taxes system. They inaugurate E TIN. In a result after March’14 will be expired 10 digit tin number. It will does not work. So if you still now do not take new 12 digits e TIN, then you should need receive this number immediately. Also you have no TIN number, but you need it you can register for this e TIN. You can register e TIN by my self in Online. It is so much easy. You do not pay for it. It is totally cost free.

I will give you details instruction how can you got this E TIN number?

Step 1. you go to NBR website which is:  http://www.nbr-bd.org/

Step 2. Select the E TIN option from site or go to: http://secure.incometax.gov.bd/TINHome

Step 3. Select the register menu for e tin or go to: https://secure.incometax.gov.bd/Registration/Index

step 4. Now fill-up the user id. It will be unique for everyone. If match your with another, then you need to change it as unique. User id will be minimum 8 characters. Then you give password and select security question and give answer. You should to remember this Q and A. Because may be you need it next time if you forget anything about your id.

Step 5. After that you fill-up the mobile. You can use this number only for one time. if you use once then software does not accept for next time. So careful you do not give your number for use to another. Also you receive a verification code with this provided mobile number for your id verification.

Step 5. Now you fill-up email address. Also you use only one time an email. Then carefully fill verification letters.

Step 6. Now submit the register button. You have received a verification code on your given mobile number. After submit register button you go to another page. Here you give the verification code that is send by software on your mobile number. If you do not have a verification code, then you try again by Resend e-TIN Activation Code menu. NB: NBR software take too much time to send verification code. It is harassment for taxpayers.
